By Lauren Prather

At the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, I have had the opportunity to sit in on court cases since my first day in the office. I have learned the intricacies of the courtroom, and the different personalities that it takes to operate our criminal justice system. I have been able to experience how culture and religion play a part in law. I have also seen how dynamic and well-spoken one must be in the industry. I have enjoyed the hands-on learning during this internship. This site has inspired me to think more about the law as I continue into college.
