Defendant Mario Nieves
On June 2, 2009, Mario Montes Nieves was arrested as he attempted to sell one kilo of powder cocaine to a confidential informant. Nieves, an illegal immigrant, was perceived by police as an upper-to-mid-level drug dealer in Lexington.
