Kimberly Henderson Baird
Kimberly Henderson Baird has been an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney with the Fayette Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office since 1996. She began her career with the office as a third-year law student at the University of Kentucky and decided after her internship that she wanted to be a prosecutor.For the past 14 years, Kimberly has worked to bring the prosecutor’s office out into the neighborhoods of Lexington, and has recently adopted a focus on child sex abuse cases.
In addition, outside of the office Kimberly is a supporter of the Roots and Heritage Festival in Lexington. She is also an advisor for both the Tates Creek High School Mock Trial Team and the University of Kentucky Law School’s Black Law Student Association.
