RAY THE D.A. REPORTING ON AUG, 2013 LEXINGTON CRIME:

It’s UP 10.8 percent from July.

As expected, PROPERTY CRIME (93 percent of Lex. crime) continues to overwhelm our city.
That will continue until our Legislature and judges decide to actually put these predatory, repeat offenders in the slammer, and finally ADMIT that the Criminal-Friendly, “Catch & Release” House Bill 463 is a resounding and dismal failure as it relates to the safety & security of our law-abiding, tax-paying citizens.

VIOLENT CRIME (7 percent) is low because those outlaws are actually thrown in prison, as they should be.

WHOA – GET THIS – in August these thievin’ thugs STOLE property worth $2,514,110.00! THAT’S MILLION, CRIME-FIGHTERS!

Murder – 2 (none in July)
Forcible Rape – 14 (up 65 percent)
Robbery – 40 (down 5)
Serious Assault – 41 (up 32 percent)
Burglary – 243 (up 8 percent)
Car break-ins – 887 (up 9 percent)
Stolen Cars – 104 (up 29 percent)
