Election Fraud |
Since 1988, Kentucky law has required that certain election-related material be presented to the county's Grand Jury. This includes violations of election laws and unexcused absences of election officials. (KRS 119.305-307). The County Clerk is also required to present all absentee ballot application and voter assistance forms to the Grand Jury. (KRS 117.365). The Grand Jury has the authority to compel the production of additional documents and to compel testimony. (KRS 119.315-325). The prosecution has the authority to grant immunity from prosecution to any person compelled to testify in such an election investigation (KRS 119.325). |
