Summer Prosecutorial Internship

The summer of 2024 will mark our 24th year for this internship!

This 10-week internship allows law students and selected undergraduate college students to work closely with prosecutors for the summer. Interns will experience first-hand workings of the criminal justice system. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

Police Ride-a-longs

Courthouse Tours

Jail & Federal Prison Tours

Afternoon on the police firing range

Tour of the K9 Unit

Spend a day with one of Lexington’s Robbery/Homicide Detectives

Tour of the Air Support Unit

And much, much more…

The internship is unpaid and will begin in late May 2024 and will conclude at the end of July 2024. Intern work hours are from 9:00 AM until 4:00PM Monday-Friday.
