The Summer
Prosecutorial Internship Program gives students an invaluable
insight into the workings of the criminal justice system. Students
will be exposed to a summer full of activities and events that will
acquaint them with the responsibilities of being a prosecutor.
Interns will participate in activities ranging from tours of crime
labs and correctional facilities, ride-a-longs with police and
detectives, witnessing an autopsy, and visiting the police firing
range. Interns will also collaborate on projects dealing with sexual
abuse, gang crime, juvenile assaults, gun crimes, and elder abuse,
to name a few.
