Man arrested months after crimes in Lexington

(WKYT) – “Police have arrested a man who they suspect stole from a man and robbed a Lexington beauty store back in May. According to police, James Bell snatched a wallet, containing $180, off a cashier’s counter while at the Loudon Avenue Rite Aid.

When Bell tried to run, the wallet’s owner tacked him. Bell was able to slip out of his jacket and escape though, police said. He then got in a green car and sped off toward New Circle Road.”



Man arrested for crashing into building on Sir Barton Way

(WKYT) – “A man was taken into custody Wednesday after crashing into a building on Sir Barton Way. Randall Scott Napier, 38, is charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and fleeing/evading police.

Lexington police said an officer noticed a driver parked on the sidewalk on Sir Barton Way near Winchester Road around 2:30 in the morning.”



Police investigating late night hit-and-run in Lexington

(WKYT) – “Police are investigating after a hit and run late Wednesday night in Lexington. It happened about 10:40 p.m. on Gunbow Court near Centre Parkway.”



Guilty verdict in trial of Lexington man charged with dismembering girlfriend

(WKYT) – A Fayette County jury returned a guilty verdict in the trial of a man charged with murdering his girlfriend.

The jury found Paris Charles, 59, guilty of murder and abuse of a corpse in the death of Goldia Massey at his home on Chatsworth Drive in the fall of 2014.



Taylor brown and Eric Finke have been assigned the responsibility of dealing with requests to expunge felony convictions when requested by a defendant.
